The photographs in this section were taken in March 1917 (mostly in Rafa) as the Scottish Horse Mounted Brigade Field Ambulance was moving forward into action at the First Battle of Gaza. Also shown are the Imperial Camel Corps, a composite unit of British and Dominion troops, and the 54th Casualty Clearing Station at Khan Yunis on the morning after the first Battle of Gaza.
