Description Petition on behalf of Ludovick Lindsay, sometime apprentice to Deacon William Burnet, surgeon, requesting the Incorporation "to relieve his present misery" and describing his poverty as a result of "a long sickness of seven years he received in the West Indies" and a wound in the thigh received accidentally through a goldsmith's chop. On the reverse side is his receipt for 40s given to him by the Calling. (19 Mar 1708).
