Description Regarding the Court's nomination of an apothecary visitor to the drug shops in which they protest that their honourable trade "is now like to fall into ane absolute decay by the designs of the phisitians who think that they have too much respect amongst the people because of their knowledge." Furthermore "every chyrurgery apothecarie is sworn when he is first admitted to have sufficient drugs and to be faithfull in the administration of them," and ought not to be subjected to the judgement of physicians visitors who graduate upon a mere year's study. The petition concludes with a reference to the physicians' "prejudice at the Chirurgeon appothecaries which is but too nottourly known".
