| Description | Desiring that they nominate and appoint a visitor for convening the fraternity of apothecaries to meet on all occasions and "of their owne honor and authority to enquyre and sensure unwarrantable proceedings whereby notwithstanding of your Lordships' decreet of declarator separating the two callings of pharmacie and chirurgie the Magistrats and councill of Edinburgh have presumed to nominate David Pringle present deacon of the chirurgeons to be a visitor for the apothecaries." |
