Description |
Concerning the chirurgians interest acknowledging the receipt of a letter of his to the satisfaction of the calling, alluding to Sir James Rochead and the Phisitians' patent and recording that the chirurgions "are sensible of your goodnes." On the reverse is a draft letter addressed to an advisor well disposed to the chirurgians, who is thanked for his advice and favours, given £25 towards his expenses in the business and told that he may see in the copy of the Phisitians patent "what reservations are therin in our favoure and you may mak sutch use of it as you shall think fitt, David Lindsay is our very good freend who will be very usefull to you." |
