Description |
Act of the Incorporation of Chirurgians of Edinburgh, against David Pringle, chirurgian barber to the Heriot Hospital and boxmaster of the Incorporation. Ordaining that he be imprisoned within the Tolbooth of Edinburgh for having employed an unfreeman, William Wood, a barber licensed to practise in Portsburgh only, to cut the hair of the boys in Heriot's Hospital in preparation for the visit of the magistrates.
