We are fortunate to hold a continuous run of minutes from 1581 until the present day. This collection includes minutes of meetings of the Incorporation of Surgeons and Barbers of Edinburgh (from 1778 The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh). While a Museum report was included in each meeting, we also hold the curator minutes of Surgeons Hall Museum, which are included in this section in addition to the College minutes.
Please note that the earlier volumes of the Incorporation's minutes are written in Old Scots, however a PDF transcription is provided if you click 'download offline version'.
