Description "...Minnie, or what Hospital my Elsie is in, or whether Eva has gone to India. You'll have a lot to tell me me! It is bitterly cold here now, much colder than it is at home. We have had a hard frost for four days now, & snowstorms. My warm things didn't arrive, & I suppose they are safe at Salonika. Fortunately last year’s uniform was still in existence, & I wear three pairs of stockings - with my high boots. We have all cut our skirts short, for Serbian mud is awful. But it is a lovely land, & the views round here are very cheering. One sunset I shall never forget, a glorious sky & the hills deep blue against it. & in the foreground the camp fires, and the prisoners round them in the fading light. We have been wonderfully well, one case of influenza, which fortunately did not spread, seeing we all share one big ward. Amy dear, this letter carries oceans of love to you all. I don't know whether you should try to write here, for I don't know what happens to us next, but I think you might try! And dear old Eve & May, give my love to everybody."
