Description |
Act of Council of Edinburgh, in favour of the Incorporation of Chirurgians of Edinburgh, against David Pringle, barber chirurgian of Heriot's Hospital. States that he "has transgressed their acts in employing William Wood ane unfreeman to barbarise the childreen of the Heriot's Hospital," and has endeavoured to "distroy the publick good of the calling, and disturb their peace and quietness to the great contempt," and ordaining that he shall not be convened to their meetings, shall not sit or have a vote with them, and shall not "have the benefitt of booking of prentices or servants."
